Sailaab (eng: Deluge) was written and performed for the victims and survivors of the floods in Pakistan’s provinces that impacted millions of lives in previous years.
Hunger, lack of hygiene and infrastructure have severely impacted the region.
I wrote this song - because i felt like i had to write it. Those impacted lead lives of silence with no means to express their state and the media has a very short term memory.
